GREAT CRAIC
Sip a superb local craft gin or whiskey or pint of locally brewed craft beer listening to stories and music by the fireside in our traditional bar.
Enjoy a great pint of Guinness, or our local craft IPA Maggie’s Leap, in our atmospheric Stables snugs or cocktails and fine wines in the elegant main bar – come on a journey of discovery with our fabulous range of drinks.
We have world-class craft gins, poitíns and whiskies from two award-winning local distilleries, Killowen and Mourne Dew. We also serve Two Stacks Double Irish Cream Liqueur, the first Irish cream liqueur to use a blend of 4 different styles of whiskey!
We haven’t forgotten the old favourites like Smithwick’s, Carlsberg and Harp and we are proud that our Guinness is said to be among the best in the country.

Food and service was great!Posted on Google Susan S12 June 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and as for the breakfast...it kept us going all day. The area was beautiful and within an easy drive of the Mournes, Warrenpoint and Newcastle There was road noise but it quietened during the night, parking was hit and miss on the street, just one of those things.Posted on Google Ollie Smith9 June 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Stayed at the Rostrevor Inn while attending a nearby wedding and found it to be a lovely, quaint little place in a very convenient location. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and were particularly helpful with local advice, including arranging and recommending taxi services. Parking was straightforward and there were no issues finding a space. The rooms were comfortable and exactly what you’d expect from a traditional inn. The included breakfast was very good and set us up well for the day. My only criticism would be that the price felt a little steep for a midweek stay, which is why I’ve given 4 rather than 5 stars. Overall, a charming place to stay with great staff, a good breakfast, and an ideal location for anyone attending events or weddings in the area. I’d happily stay again.Posted on Google Sheila Campbell2 June 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Brilliant stay at The Rostrevor Inn. A happy accident brought us here when the bar was crowded with locals having a low-key music and storytelling session. The Guinness was sublime and we were made to feel very welcome. We'll definitely be back one day...Posted on Google Steve Curr14 May 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Extensive good value menu with veggie/vegan options, although we'd already eaten and so didn't try the food. The bar is small, cosy and characterful, with several local whiskies, Guinness galore, friendly locals and staff, and, on our visit, open mic music and recitals. A really enjoyable evening.Posted on Google artur sobczyk19 April 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Really enjoyed the food. Adorable prices and friendly staff.
