We are very proud to stock a range of superb local whiskeys, gins and poitíns, including award winners from three distilleries on our doorstep, Mourne Dew from Warrenpoint, Two Stacks from Newry and Killowen, voted the World’s Best Whiskey Craft Producers in 2025. We also serve a superb Double Irish Cream liqueur from Two Stacks.

Shortcross Classic Gin

Distilled with key foraged botanicals, elderflower, elderberries, wild irish clover and apples, this is a classic, old school, juniper led gin, bottled at 46%, distilled in single batches retaining all those rich oils. Try served over ice with elderflower tonic water and an orange peel garnish. Shortcross Distillery.

Killowen Poitín

A highly regarded recipe from a local Mourne family that has been used for generations is now reborn in this generation as a legal spirit. With a unique ratio of wheat, barley and oats to create a mash bill fitting of the word Poitín. This small batch produce includes mixes of malted and unmalted grain, the malted being smoked on site by local Mourne turf fires in a hand-made kiln.
Pooka No 1. Blend Irish Poitín

A combination of wheat and malted barley spirit, it has the unpleasant elements normally associated with poitíns removed through distillation and is then stored in wood for 10 weeks before blending and bottling. A true taste of traditional Ireland. Mourne Dew.
Pooka Hazelnut Poitín Liqueur

Infused and distilled with roast hazelnuts to give a strong nutty flavour. Mourne Dew.
