Rostrevor is famed for its musicians, including some of Ireland’s finest folk and traditional artists.
Music is in our DNA! Every Wednesday in our traditional bar, Crawfords, Matthew McGrath hosts our now legendary songs and stories evening by the fireside.
Friday night brings the awesome multi-instrumentalist Dermot McQuaid and there’s always great live music on Saturday nights. Danny McGreevy’s traditional session starts at 5pm each Sunday.
Our monthly folk club has featured the finest artists from Ireland and abroad for nearly ten years. We have also featured music in our Pop-up Gaeltacht on the first Monday of each month.

So far, we have hosted many wonderful artists, including Aoife Scott, Mick Hanly, Charlie McGettigan, Zoe Conway and John McIntyre, Eleanor Shanley, Mickey McConnell, Avalon, Freddie White, Allan Taylor, Robbie O’Connell, Tim Edey, Donal Clancy, Brian Willoughby and Cathryn Craig, Tommy Sands, Eleanor McEvoy, John Spillane, Liam Ó Maonlaí, Andy Irvine, Duke Special, Daoirí Farrell and many others.
Upcoming Concerts
For nearly a decade, our monthly Folk Club has been hosting the finest artists in Ireland and abroad. From Andy Irvine to Eleanor Shanley, John Spillane to Aoife Scott, it’s been an incredible ten years.
Following a brilliant concert with the incredibly talented Emma Langford, we kicked off our latest Lough of Songs collaboration with Carlingford with two legends of traditional music, uilleann pipe (and tin whistle and flute) maestro Mick O’Brien and master musician Dónal O’Connor. Next in our May series is Roots Revival (May 18th) before we conclude our spring/summer season with Zoë Conway and John Mc Intyre (June 22nd).
